Join us on Friday 10 April for a recital of the Romantics featuring 2009 Honens Prize Laureate Georgy Tchaidze alongside cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan at St. Stephen's Anglican Church.
This special program brings together towering works of the Romantic repertoire: Robert Schumann’s most personal Davidbündlertänze and Rachmaninoff’s Sonata for Cello and Piano. Inspired by the idea of pairing kindred pieces, both works share a joyful, exuberant spirit and, remarkably, both were created as wedding gifts.
Known for his poetic and collaborative sensitivity with crystalline sound, Georgy has long been celebrated by global audiences. Joined by Narek, whose soulful playing and captivating stage presence have earned him international admiration, this concert promises an evening of musicality that glows from the inside out.
Don’t miss your chance to hear these major international competition winners together on stage!
