Adaptive concerts are family-friendly concerts that welcome neurodiversity and disability, especially in children and youth. Each concerts feature a 45-60 minute program of short musical selections with flexible seating, a quiet zone for breaks, sensory toys, stretch breaks with movement activities, a visual schedule, and the ability to move around during the performance.
While these concerts are designed to be accessible and inclusive for neurodivergent listeners, people with disabilities, and others who face social and systemic barriers to attending typical events, all ages and expressions are welcome! They’re also a perfect way to expose young listeners to classical music in a relaxed, restriction-free atmosphere.
To eliminate financial barriers to attendance, ticket price will be refunded when you arrive at the concert.
