Indian-American soprano Maya Kherani has been lauded for her vibrant voice and exciting characterizations in repertoire from the Baroque to the modern.

Recent and future projects include GOVINDA in the world premiere Siddhartha Aspen Music Festival, Exsultate, jubilate and excerpts from Handel’s Messiah Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Messiah Apollo’s Fire, New York Philharmonic and Boston Baroque, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater Boston Baroque, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Handel’s \ Agrippina: condotta a morire American Bach Soloists, Handel’s Silete venti and Vivaldi’s Vengo a voi, luci adorate Portland Baroque, Muffat’s Missa in labore requies Philharmonia Baroque San Francisco, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 Vancouver Symphony, SOLOIST Fury and Heartbreak Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and Chorale, and SOLOIST Queen of Hearts Concert Opera Lafayette.

Maya graduated from Princeton University summa cum laude with a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and the Boston University Opera Institute
