Laureate Awards and Artistic and Career Development Program
Laureates receive an original glass award by Alberta artist Mark Gibeau, and a three-season Artistic and Career Development Program starting immediately after the Competition and concluding at the end of the 2011-2012 concert season. The program includes performance engagements, residencies at The Banff Centre, production of recordings, mentoring and coaching.

Honens awards cash prizes to finalists, semifinalists, and to artists giving the best ensemble performance, the best performance of the commissioned work, and to whom the jury feels shows special promise.
