Gilles Vonsattel, a member of Lincoln Center’s Chamber Music Society Two, received an Avery Fisher career grant in 2008. He was also the top prizewinner at the 2006 Geneva International Music Competition, and is a laureate of the Cleveland and Dublin International Piano Competitions. He has performed in major venues across the United States including Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Boston’s Symphony Hall, and Washington D.C.’s National Gallery of Art. In ensemble, Vonsattel has debuted at the Musée du Louvre in Paris and at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. He studied with David Deveau in Boston, and received his Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School where he studied with Jerome Lowenthal. He also holds a degree in political science and economics from Columbia University, and is interested in geopolitics.
