Honens International Piano Competition welcomes Vice President, Development

Honens International Piano Competition announces the appointment of Terry Tobin as Vice President, Development.

Terry Tobin joins Honens with more than 20 years of development and public relations experience. He began his fundraising career in the arts at Opera Hamilton and Montreal’s Musée des Beaux Arts. For the last 14 years, he has held senior development positions at both McGill University in Montreal and, most recently, at Edmonton’s University of Alberta, where he was Director of Principal Gifts and Director of Development for the Faculty of Native Studies. “Next year Honens celebrates its 20th anniversary with Laureate debuts throughout the world and a competition that now awards the largest prize of any event of its kind. We’re delighted to welcome Terry at this time of exciting growth,” said Honens President & Artistic Director, Stephen McHolm.
